Volkswagen says that it’s Space Up! Blue features the world’s first high temperature fuel cell. Powered by 12 lithium-ion batteries, the Space Up! Blue is fully electric with a possible range of 65 miles and is able to be recharged either by plugging in to an electrical outlet, or via its fuel cell capability, which extends the vehicle’s range to a total of 220 miles on a single charge. The Space Up! Blue is also capable of charging its batteries by using the solar panel mounted to its roof which is able to feed 150 watts of power. Lower weight and price, as well as greater utility are pegged as key features VW says could help push its fuel cell technology into mass production.

Tail light Upgrade on 1999 Chevy Silverado

This week had a customer come in for an upgrade on his 1999 Siverado truck. Customer bought the custom LED tail lights from mytightride.com. He came into the shop and had the tail lights installed. I had the pleasure to see the truck as it was leaving the owner kept the truck very sharp and clean, I especially liked the midnight blue paint job, classic color. Once the owner saw the new look with the new tail lights he decided that he will come back to get the head lights as well. Thank you for the pics.
2009 Honda Civic Coupe Upgrading Rear Tail Light Lenses
Jen C. from Laguna Hills recently came to our shop to get MaryJane’s (yes, she has a name for her ride) tail lights swapped out. Jen has a brand new 2009 Honda Civic 2-door coupe which she wanted to tighten-up. Obvious diffrence is the change from all the red to a more sharper chrome look with red led LED lights… very nice thank you!! These rear lenses took a little work in order to remove them from the car. Unfortunately, the rear bumper has to come off. It’s not a big deal to remove the bumper, but it does take some time. There are two bolts attaching the rear lenses to the car that are hidden by the bumper. Once the bumper is off, the rest is pretty simple. The aftermarket LED lenses are plug and play. Simply remove the sockets and bulbs and plug in the LED lenses into the OEM sockets. SIMPLE!! Please contact us at (714) 634-3839 or email us at Info@MyTightRide.com for further details.
